Location :
San Juan Bautista ( about 15 mins south of Gilroy).
What? :
Tour of small organic farm growing a wide variety of flowers and vegetables. Understand what it takes to grow and sell local flowers.
U-pick of flowers ( and possibly vegetables based on what is available). This is not an usual U-Pick farm but it is set up as part of Tera Farm organized farm visit.
Optional flower workshop on how to create your own dried flower bouquets for your home or as gifts.
Photo time! - Plenty of perfect photo spots by the flower fields.
How long will this take? :
Plan for 1.5 - 2 hours .
Cost? :
There is no cost for the visit, but you will pay for the flowers you pick directly to farmers managing the U-pick.
Please bring cash. We will also try to set up Venmo.
Due to sharp tools, children under 12 can not pick flowers but are welcome to join the visit and help adults choose the flowers.
