Upcoming Farm Visit - Flower & Vegetable Farm

Location :

San Juan Bautista ( about 15 mins south of Gilroy).

What?  :

  • Tour of small organic farms growing a wide variety of flowers and vegetables. Understand what it takes to grow and sell local flowers.

  • U-pick of a wide variety of flowers ( and possibly some vegetables
    - based on what is available).

  • Optional flower workshop on how to create your own dried flower bouquets for your home or as gifts.

  • Photo time! - Plenty of perfect photo spots by the flower fields.

    How long will this take? :


    Plan for about an hour of the tour, followed by an hour of flower picking and optional flower bouquet making activity.
    Bring a picnic lunch, if you want to stay on and eat on the farm else there are good restaurants about 10 min drive from the farm.


    Cost? :


    There is no cost for the visit, but you will pay for the flowers you pick directly to farmers managing the U-pick.
    Please bring cash. We will also try to set up Venmo.

As part of our nonprofit's work, we want to create opportunities for you to learn more about what it takes to grow food locally.  It is also a time to enjoy California's beautiful farmland with family and friends.
