Location :
San Juan Bautista. ( 15 mins south of Gilroy).

What?  :

  • Tour of 3 small organic farms growing a wide variety
    apples, flowers, and vegetables

  • U-pick of speciality apples, flowers, and vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, kale etc
    - based on what is available).

    We expect there to be a lot of items!

How long will this take? :
The tour and optional U-pick will last between 1 - 1.5 hours.

You can also picnic at the Farm!

We invite you to stay on and picnic at the farm after the farm visit/u-pick. We have a beautiful shaded area that you can use.
Bring your own picnic and we will have the space open till 12.30pm for you to enjoy.


Cost? :
There is no cost for the farm visits. 
If produce is available for U-pick and you choose to do the U-pick,
you will pay for the produce at that time.
(Please bring cash, we will also try to set up Venmo)

What else can you do/ activities in the area :  

If you would like to turn this into a day-long outing with your family or friends, we recommend visiting  the beautiful historic San Juan Bautista town nearby.  If you have not done so already, visit the largest of the California missions, Mission San Juan Bautista. Did you know that Hitchcock’s movie Vertigo was filmed here

How to sign up:
There are limited spots on each trip,
so please fill out this registration form as soon as possible.

Once you register, you will get an a link to the details- exact parking location, what to bring etc. You will also get an email update and reminder few days before the visit.

Why does Tera Farm organize farm visits?
As part of our nonprofit's work, we want to create opportunities for you to learn more about what it takes to grow food locally.  It is also a time to enjoy California's beautiful farmland with family and friends.
