What?
🚜 Walk through orchards and fields on a guided farm tour
🌼 Stand among thousands of marigolds!
🍎 Pick apples
🥕🍅 Pick fresh vegetables and flowers 🌼🌸🌺
These are not regular U-pick farms, the U-pick is part of the guided educational tour.
How long will this take? :
The tour and guided U-pick will take about 1 hour, and you can U-pick, take photos, enjoy the farm after for more time. Plan for 1 - 1.5 hours.
Cost? : FREE TO ATTEND
There is NO COST for the farm visit. You will pay farmers directly for any available produce (fruit, vegetables, flowers) (Cash/Venmo accepted)
How to sign up? Limited spots on each tour
so please fill out this registration form as soon as possible.
Once you register, you will get an a link to the details- exact parking location, what to bring etc. You will also get an email update and reminder few days before the visit.

Are all the farm tours the same - or do you have different farms on each of the above days
Yes, it is the same tour, we will tour multiple farms that are adjacent to each other. We have set up different days to make it easier for you to attend - choose from any one day.
Why are there thousands of marigolds at the farm at this time?
Marigolds are especially popular in the fall for the Mexican holiday, Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), when they are traditionally used on ofrendas and to honor loved ones who have died, and for Diwali, the Indian Festival of Lights, when marigolds are widely used for colorful garlands and decorations.
Local farmers grow large numbers of these beautiful flowers to meet the seasonal demand. During your October farm visit, you’ll get to walk among thousands of marigolds and see this colorful fall crop growing in the field.
🌼 Take some home! Marigolds will be available to purchase during your visit — for your own fall decorations, Día de los Muertos or Diwali celebrations, or to give as beautiful seasonal gifts.
Are kids allowed? Is there walking involved? Do you have easy parking? Can I bring my dog?
Yes - we love to see kids of all ages, but they must be supervised. Yes there is a small amount of walking/standing for about an hour, on dirt roads. Yes, we have plenty of easy parking along the fence to the farm.
Sorry, we can not have any pets on the tour due to farm rules.
What else can you do/ activities in the area?
If you have not visited this area before, we recommend visiting the beautiful historic San Juan Bautista town nearby, which also has the largest of the California missions, Mission San Juan Bautista. Did you know that Hitchcock’s movie Vertigo was filmed here?
