Farm to My Neighborhood : How does it work?

1. TERA FARM TALKS TO THE FARMERS

Farmer Maria is the coordinator farmer, and her farm Narci Organic Farms is providing produce from her farm and her friend farmers for sites in Palo Alto, Los Altos, Saratoga and Sunnyvale. Farmer Bertha is the coordinator farmer, and her farm Magaña Farms is providing produce from her farm and her friend farmers for sites in San Jose, Fremont ,Oakland. Marina, Seaside, Pacific Grove Tera Farm coordinates with the farmers to find out what is ready to be harvested for that week and helps update the online stores each Monday. 

2: YOU SHOP: STORE HOURS -  Mon 4:00 pm- Wed 9:00 pm

 Stores open on Monday at 4 pm. You select what you like - 100% customized by you. Some items are limited depending on the week’s harvest so we recommend you shop early.

To make this sustainable for the farmers, please shop for least $25 worth of produce each week. The payments are made online directly to either Farmer Maria or Farmer Bertha's farm  - your statement will show either Narci Organics or Magaña Farms depending on your site.

3: FARMERS HARVEST AND DELIVER

On Saturday early morning, farmers complete the harvest and coordination with their friend farmers, they pack your customized individual box and drive down to deliver to your neighborhood sites.

4: YOU PICK-UP YOUR PRODUCE 

Your confirmation email has all the details - address of site, delivery times (Saturday morning usually between 10 am and noon). You come and pick up your box with your order number and name. Please pick up your box soon to enjoy the produce while it is the most fresh. Delivery times are usually very predictable except when routes change/ get added, and so you will get used to the usual pick up times.
